42. Yeah I know. But no. This is the answer to another question, posed to me by my friend Eric.
I started my own website as a lowly subdomain of cawfeemilk.com back in the early part of the century. The only reason I started a site was to try to practice my “mad l33t HTML skills”. Having quickly discovered I was not good at design, I thought Id give my hand at web programming. It was then when I began my long affair with PHP. We’ve been together ever since, and I still find the language new and exciting.
I’m not sure we even called it “blogging” back then. The term was relatively new at that point. I did the same as I do now, random updates of random points of my life. But, as they say on Telemundo… Por qué…Por qué!!??!! Well certainly, to keep people updated on my life. I dont know who cares, but surely there are some who do use this site as a way to keep tabs on me. And I welcome it. If you need to keep tabs on me with a website, then maybe we dont talk as much as we should. But we really should, so maybe you should stop reading about me and shoot me an email. I also try to entertain. Ive always thought of myself as a story teller, and this gives me an outlet to tell some of my tales. I also try to educate the masses. When I learn about something cool or new, Id like to share it.
So there, in a nutshell is why I, in the parlance of our times, “blog”, and why I have my own site.
