Yes this book could be considered a DaVinci Code knockoff. It is about a woman archaeologist hot on the trail of a relic going back to the days of Christ that could possibly rock the world’s religions on their asses. Along with the skeptic FBI agent who is currently having a crisis of faith, and this quest for the greatest religious icon ever… is not helping. There’s also a conspiracy involving the Knights Templar, the Vatican, the CIA and even the much feared NYPD Mounted Patrol.
All that aside, it was a good book. And again, like the DaVinci Code, the chapters were short and to the point, making the 400 pages fly by in about a week. But it was a cool story, a fast read, and I recommend it to people interested in these kinds of stories. I thought the story was well thought out and still pretty original. I have always been intrigued with The Knights Templar, and if we were to believe this book, they were even more awsomer that I couldve have hoped.
